I was asked to be the student speaker at The Art Institute’s Graduation Ceremony. Having never spoken in front of a large audience, I was terrified. Jacqui guided me through every step of writing and delivering my speech with patience and humor. She taught me how to project my voice, where to pause and how to make meaningful eye contact. Most importantly, she emphasized the importance of practicing my speech, over and over, until I felt confident.

On the day of graduation, I gave my speech to the thousands of people at the ceremony. My hands were only shaking a little bit. The audience laughed at the right spots and seemed totally engaged in the words that were flowing effortlessly out of my mouth. When I was finished, the audience applauded enthusiastically and gave me a standing ovation. I owe my success to Jacqui for her unwavering support and advice.
